McMillans of Metung Coastal Resort is an award-winning resort offering guests
the ultimate relaxing getaway in a picturesque location with stunning views over Bancroft Bay.
Established in 1980 by John and Kaye McMillan and officially opened in 1981 by iconic Australian singing legend Slim Dusty, McMillans of Metung started with 11 cottages. The business was sold and expanded to include 20 cottages and spa villas.
The resort is renowned as an idyllic holiday destination with superbly appointed modern and comfortable cottages and spa villas, offering the ultimate in privacy and tranquillity. Set on eight acres of manicured grounds and giant eucalypt trees. A wildlife lagoon on the property is home to myriad birdlife and a jetty provides as easily accessed mooring and fishing spot.
With its unique setting, attention to detail and emphasis on providing outstanding customer service, McMillans of Metung was awarded nine Victorian and two Australian Tourism Awards.
